Raft Building...a test of Initiative & Co-operation Raft Building is an exciting team-building activity. Build your own design of raft or let us help you with a few ideas. Then the true test...will it stay together as you paddle it on the lake!? This activity utilises ropes, wooden spars and plastic barrels to test initiative, develop leadership skills and encourage co-operation and teamwork. Ask about our Raft Building Challenge to test communication, problem solving and planning skills as you work together to retrieve the vital components of your raft from the 'remote' island on the horizon! This is an ideal exercise for small groups (6-10 persons) to compete against each other and ultimately race your 'oceanic creations'! Dragon Boating Dragon Boating is a popular and competitive activity and offers a unique experience for larger groups. Our two 44ft long Chinese-style boats take between 12 and 22 paddlers each and are steered by a qualified helm who will provide training on how to get the best from your boat. Buoyancy aids must be worn but this activity is programmed as a 'dry' session... splashing & rain excepted!! Instructors follow the guidelines laid down by the British Dragon Boat Racing Association. We recommend a minimum group size of 12 per boat to provide exciting racing! Even the least competitive members of your crew will want to reach that finishing line first!
